Official Announcement | The Postal Service will
issue a sheetlet of 18 32-cent Holiday Contemporary (Children Sledding) peel-and-stick
automatic teller machine (ATM) stamps (Item 5513) and a booklet of 20 32-cent Holiday
Traditional (Midnight Angel) peel-and-stick stamps (Item 6670) on October 19 in Christmas,
Florida. Designed by John Grossman and Laura Alders of Richmond Point, California, these stamps feature greeting card scenes from the Victorian and Edwardian eras. The Children Sledding and Midnight Angel stamps go on sale nationwide October 20. |
Varieties | Plate B1111 exists with both Solid and Dashed Scoring on the liner, plus it also exists with and without divots. A 1996 printing with plate B3333 has deeper colors and the reorder label has die cuts, and the liner has no printing under the stamps. |
Note | Plate B1111 and B2222 have "C" liners. |

Distribution - $6.40 Holiday Traditional Peel-and-Stick Stamp Booklet (Midnight Angel, Item 6670)
Philatelic Requirement
Stamp distribution offices (SDOs) and stamp distribution networks (SDNs) with authorized philatelic centers will receive their standard automatic distributions of the Midnight Angel peel-and-stick booklets to provide subsequent automatic distribution to each philatelic center in their ZIP Code area.
Distribution
All stamp distribution offices (SDOs) and stamp distribution networks (SDNs) will receive half their standard automatic distribution quantities for this booklet of 20 peel-and-stick stamps, rounded to the master carton size (4,500 booklets). SDOs and SDNs will make shipments to post offices for half their standard automatic distribution for booklets, using Forms 3309, Advice of Shipment/Stamp Invoice. SDOs must not distribute stamps to post offices before October 10.
Additional Supply
Each accountable paper depository (APD) and SDN will receive 828,000 booklets for filling supplemental orders. Exceptions are the SDN in Kansas City, MO, which will receive 1,224,000 booklets, and the APD in Denver, CO, which will receive 450,000 booklets for filling supplemental orders.
SDOs requiring additional booklets must order them from their appropriate APD, using separate Forms 17, Stamp Requisition. All other post offices requiring additional panes must requisition them from their designated SDO on separate Forms 17, or SDN, using separate Forms 17-S, Stamp Distribution Network Stamp Requisition.
