Official Announcement The Postal Service will issue a 32-cent The Postal Service will issue the 32-cent Fruits (Peaches & Pear) stamps in a $6.40 booklet of 20 (Item 6663), and a $6.40 convertible booklet of 20 self-adhesive stamps (Item 6671) on July 8 in Reno, NV. The stamp booklets go on sale nationwide on July 10. The stamps were designed by Ned Seidler of Hampton Bay, NY.

Distribution for 32-Cent Fruits (Peaches & Pear) Self-Adhesive Convertible Booklet

The 32-cent Fruits (Peaches & Pear) self-adhesive convertible booklets go on sale July 8, 1995, in Reno, NV. This issue has two designs, peaches and a pear. A future Postal Bulletin will include collector information.

Distribution

All stamp distribution offices (SDOs) will receive two distributions of half their standard automatic distribution quantities (first update for 1995 booklets) for a 20-stamp booklet, rounded to the nearest master carton size (4,500 booklets). The first distribution will be completed June 15, and the second distribution will be completed by June 22. SDOs will make only one shipment to post offices of half their standard automatic distribution quantity, using Form 3309 , Advice of Shipment/Stamp Invoice. SDOs must not distribute stamps to post offices before June 29.

Additional Supply

Each accountable paper depository (APD) will receive 202,500 booklets by June 15, and 450,000 booklets by June 22, for filling supplemental orders. SDOs requiring additional booklets must order them from their APD, using a separate Form 17, Stamp Requisition. All other post offices requiring additional booklets should requisition them from their designated SDO on a separate Form 17.
