Official Announcement

The Postal Service will issue 37-cent Spring Flowers special stamps in four designs (Item 673900). The stamps will be produced as a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA), double-sided convertible booklet of 20. The first-day-of- issue ceremony is March 15, 2005, in Chicago, IL. The stamps, designed by Derry Noyes of Washington, DC, and illustrated by Christopher Pullman, Cambridge, MA, go on sale nationwide March 16, 2005.

An iris, hyacinth, daffodil, and tulip are the spring flowers painted by artist Pullman. Mainstays in gardens coast to coast, these four flowers are among the earliest to appear each spring.
