INTRODUCTION

SPREADSHEET OF BOOKLETS IN SCOTT ORDER

DATABASE OF U.S. BOOKLET ISSUES

CHECKLISTS OF U.S. BOOKLET ISSUES

CHECKLISTS OF OTHER ISSUES

I am currently working on adding data and scans of recent and current issues.

The ultimate intention is to cross-link the pages, and add color along with adding data on recent issues. This is expected to be a major upgrade and take quite a few months, and then I plan on working backward with recent issues as time permits. Booklets issued from the beginning of the year 1995 are now included on the site, and I'm working on 1994.

Please let me know if you see something I might have missed or anything that needs to be corrected.

I am certainly no expert on booklets, especially those before what I consider 'modern' booklets; i.e. - those with plate numbers.  I will attempt to present the information as error free as possible.  I would welcome your ideas, comments, corrections and constructive criticism.

Thanks to Mike Perry, author of the United States Stamp Society 'Research Paper #2 - Folded-Style and Pressure Sensitive Booklet Checklist', and Alan Malakoff, editor of the 'Catalog of United States Self-Adhesive Stamps', which is now out-of-print, for their reference works. A big 'high 5' goes to the members of the US Stamps Group on Yahoo for sharing information on new finds and varieties. Another thank you goes to Scott Publications for their valuable, handy reference, 'The Scott Catalogue'.  Likewise to Linn's Stamp News for their annual U.S. Stamp Yearbook series.

Last but not least, to Dieter Kohler, who was the inspiration for this work and who compiled and provided the original data.
